We fill the security gap.

We truly secure streamed content. While both Wowza and FMS include various types of security features that can and should be utilized to reduce content theft, they are still rather easily defeated. We have filled the gap between simple security measures and full-blown DRM solutions.

We secure the stream.

Our service is designed to protect streamed content. Your player and media servers are registered with our service. Each time a stream is requested, the player and media server are verified along with special credentials that become part of the stream request. Our technology works in concert with the existing security mechanisms provided by Wowza and FMS. And our player and server plug-ins enable quick, painless deployment.

No re-encoding.

We don't require any alteration of your original digital files. It's like flipping a switch to secure your entire catalog.

DRM is expensive, complex, and limiting.

Most DRM solutions involve very expensive server licenses, long-term contracts, and often require special hardware. So for even a modest DRM solution, you'll minimally need to:

Spend money on
  • DRM Licenses (typically tens of thousands per server!)
  • Server hardware (need at least 2 in case one goes down)
  • Server software (per server)
Spend time (and money) on
  • Re-encoding all of your media content
  • Integrating the DRM API into your application (requires programming)
  • Converting to a DRM-compatible Player
DRM is designed to protect downloaded content, not streamed.

This means that you still get stuck paying bandwidth charges for hijacked streams. And your content still gets into the hands of the bad guys, who can take their time cracking your DRM scheme.
